City Provides Tens of Free Architects

Jakarta Provincial Government provides free architect service for Jakarta residents. There are dozens of architects who are ready to help them for processing building permit with a land area of less than 100 square meters.

We are ready from last month. We already have 12 architects. They are civil servant

Head of One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (BPTSP), Edy Junaedi Harahap disclosed the building permit processing has been made free. But residents are still difficulties in getting permit, due to expensive cost of hiring architect.

"For those who have a land under 100 square meters is indeed free levy in accordance with bylaw, and they are complaining expensive cost of architect. Hence, we provide the architect for free," he expressed, Saturday (1/23).

Citizens Praised Tanjung Priok PTSP

According to him, there are at least 12 architects who are civil servant of Jakarta.

"We are ready from last month. We already have 12 architects. They are civil servant," he told.

It is hoped every resident who wants to build a house must submit permit beforehand. Thus the occupancy in Jakarta can be more orderly. It is also to anticipate fire incident in densely populated areas.

"Mr. Governor's hope is the PTSP could serve resident well. So we continue to innovate in serving them," he finished.
